 Christopher Lee says that of all the films he has made,
this is his favourite. It is easy to see why. Not only is
the beguilement of the miserable Christian copper a joy to
behold but so are Britt Ekland's considerable charms! As a
very sinister mystery, this has a slightly predictable
ending for anyone who knows their ancient British customs.
For those who don't, you can't help feeling sorry for
Edward Woodward no matter what his character's views are.N.B. A DVD version of this film was given away recently with a British Sunday newspaper so nearly everyone in Britain should have access to this now. Dr Blood's rating: 10/10  |
