 The series was great but this film is a bit hit and miss. The best tale involves a demon pulling the bits off the wing of a plane while John Lithgow is driven crazy thinking of ways to stop it. This bit was of course done much better in the episode "Terror at 25,000 Feet" which was originally made starring William Shatner.The Stephen King tale is all about a group of old people wishing to be young again... they get their wish but the story sucks. Since I have a soft spot for Kathleen Quinlan (under the compost heap at the bottom of the garden!), I should just add that she looks really beautiful in her weird and wonderful tale. I'm sure the sexual tension between her and the little boy is only in my mind... at least I hope it is... Dr Blood's rating: 5/10  |
