When their cat is killed they bury it in the Pet Sematary, a mystical place reputed to have the power of resurrection... Comments:  This is one of Stephen King's best books but it doesn't rate quite so highly as a movie. That said, it's not that it has too many faults. It has a spooky midnight trek to a mysterious Indian burial ground with atmospheric mist, a resurrection or two, and some really bloody killings. What is doesn't have is anything really scary in it which we haven't already seen before, and the empathy we feel for Louis Creed in the novel is not even approximated by the director's "let's ignore the audience and just do what we like" attitude.Never let a woman direct a horror movie unless her name is Kathryn Bigelow!!!
