HSHost says "If you would like to ask our guest a question this evening, it's very simple. Just type in /ask a space and then your question. If you're using "Excite's VP chat" you need only click the "something to say" icon at the bottom right corner of your screen. We are all very excited about our special guest this evening, renowned horror actor, Christopher Lee. Welcome to Hollywood Spotlight, Christopher!"
ChristopherLee says "Thank you very much! I was interested to hear you say the word macabre .. that's Arabic ... it means "from the grave" appropriately."
HSHost says "Ahhhhh! Good trivia there. What brings you to LA?"
ChristopherLee says "I have people to meet, I've come from the Chicago film festival and I'm spending time here to discuss projects meet new people and play as much golf as I can as the sun shines. I'll be doing a lot of that before I go back to London where the sun won't be shining and I won't be playing golf or having meetings! The telephone can be important in our lives but sometimes we can do without it."
SRT5 asks "WHEN DID YOU START YOUR ACTIN CAREER AND WHAT WAS THE FIRST ROLE YOU APPEARED IN"
ChristopherLee says "1947, "Corridor of Mirrors" and I had two sentences .. I was a guest in a nightclub and I had to look at the star of the film, Eric Portman and say "Take A Look, Standing in the entrance, Lord Barham." I got it out .. got the lines right, had to borrow the director's tuxedo. I didn't have one. It was a British film."
Sid asks "Have you read John Curtis's book on James Whale and did you ever meet James Whale?"
ChristopherLee says "Neither I'm afraid in both cases. I read the book on Todd Browning, but not on James and never met him. I didn't come to live in this country until 1976 and I only filmed once at Universal and I think he was dead by then. I did see the film in Chicago, "Gods and Monsters" about his life. It was interesting, not sure how accurate it was."
guest11609 asks "what happens when you get into the guiness book of world records, do they throw you a party"
ChristopherLee says "No. And, I think there's been a misunderstanding .. the book is "The Guinness Book of Movie Facts and Feats" and it says I have the most film credits. I think they mean I'm the British International star with the most film credits .. I know for a fact that Anthony Quinn has done more movies than I have. The photograph is taken from "Gremlins II" which I had the great pleasure of doing here ... I think it was Universal .... Joe Dante directed it. A rare case of a sequel being better than the first one."
HSHost says "Right! That was good!"
SRT5 asks "WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO PLAY IN HORROR MOVIES MOST WERE YOU A BIG FAN OF THRILLER"
ChristopherLee says "I didn't choose it. They chose me. And, for the first 10 years of my career, I'd done what all actors and actresses should do .. to learn, you sweep the stage, sing here and there, do radio and work in the theatre and TV and live TV and in films .. you sweep the stage .. everything you can to learn, learn, learn ... and I'm still learning after 52 years. It wasn't an area I thought I'd make my name in, but the important thing is to make your name. Lon Chaney Sr. was the great master .. Boris Karloff lived next door to me and said, "Find something other actors can't or won't do and you'll never be forgotten." Well, it turned out that way though it was unsuspected. But, I had an enormous interest in myths, legends, the occult and supernatural .. long before I became an actor. It was the right man at the right time I suppose."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "Did you like Zach Galligan?"
ChristopherLee says "Yes, he was fun. Very good I thought. Havne'tseen or worked with him since. It was 1989 I think. Doesn't seem like it but it was!"
HSHost says "Time flies!"
ChristopherLee says "Certainly does."
MelvinM asks "Was it difficult to film the erotic scenes in your Dracula, like the one between you and Veronica Carlson in Dracula Has Risen from the Grave?"
ChristopherLee says "No. Acting is acting .. you have to understand imaginary .. but it has to be convincing and if you have a very attractive woman opposite you it makes it easier! But, it's still acting. The character is heroic and romantic AND erotic .. he lives on people's blood. And, the women .. obviously it has a certain sexual significance. I think that's very clear in the book."
MelvinM asks "How do rate today's horror films, with there gory special effects, compared to what you did when Hammer began issuing theres in the 50s."
ChristopherLee says "Everybody asks me what's the difference between films I made 40 years ago .. and I say about 50 million dollars which is true. When it comes to this film, I"ve always maintained that less is more and you should leave it to the imagination of the audience .. I don't do these films anymore .. I did a film last year that I'm not sure you'd call horror. When you have these gruesome, graphic effects and the screen is awash with blood and mutilation, I don't want to be involved in a film of that kind. I've been offered them, but I've said no. I think the pendulum will swing and come back to the power of imagination .. which is more powerful. They're very successful, but the two that struck me .. they're not new .. "Psycho" and "Rosemary's Baby.""
ChristopherLee says "They're going to remake "Psycho" and I was informed the other day by a director .. copying it scene by scene and line by line .. that I don't understand. That's what I was told. If it is correct, you really wonder why they bother. If you're going to change the story, change it to different locations, clothes, periods of time. I really don't quite understand.m There's an awful lot of other things in the motion picture industry I don't understand."
Jinxed asks "From Benkie: Since you have a wonderful voice, Have you ever or plan to soon been in any animated movies or series?"
ChristopherLee says "I did .. yes, I did an animated .. the voice for an animated film over here actually. And, the people .. my colleagues were Angela Lansbury, Alan Arkin, Beau Bridges, Tammy Grimes and it was the most beautiful picture called "The Last Unicorn" done by Rankin and Bass. And, also in Europe .. "Terry Pratchett" which invented a whole new world called "Disc World" and there's a character called Death and I played that character on SNL in 1978 and I've done that in two animated films. But, it's black comedy, it's amusing."
LadyLilac asks "I must say that your eyes are visually intense. What sign are you? (as in Zodiac)"
ChristopherLee says "Gemini."
HSHost says "Hmmm .. a lot of actors are Gemini."
ChristopherLee says "Seems like it .. Peter Cushing was the 26th of May and Vincent Price and I are the 27th, make of that what you will."
Saint Storyteller asks "Dear Mr Lee I have been a big fan for a very long time. Q.What is the worst film you ever worked on that was the most fun to make?"
ChristopherLee {action} laughs"
ChristopherLee says "The list might be too long! You never go into a film thinking it's going to be bad and you always do the best you can as does everyone else, what happens in the editing room is something you don't have any control over. I wouldn't want to name the worst film, cause everyone who's been in those films don't want to talk about it not because of the performances but because of the results. I did a film over here and I was told there were going to be wonderful distinguished actors in the film and it wasn't true. I'm credited believe it or not with the revolting title of "The Meat and Cleaver Massacre" and I never did such a film."
ChristopherLee says "I was asked if I would go to a studio, sit in a chair as myself and give a talk about the supernatural. That was what it was as far as I knew. No one told me anything else. Then I find that this becomes the narration or introduction to a film called "The Meat Cleaver Massacre." And, I have to say I never did a film with that title and they say well, you're there! MY answer is I didn't do it. The best film was ... I think the one I did last year in Pakistan .. I played the founder of a nation .. "Jinnah," which was the name of the founder of Pakistan in 1947, the equivalent of Ghandi in India. It's a very good movie. Up until I've seen this, which is history of course .. the best picture was "The Wicker Man," best script, best part, best film. But, now in a different way, this film, "Jinnah," I hope will supercede it. It's the most challenging role I had. I went to Pakistan and I'm not a Pakistani .. it wasn't easy .. not at all. Shot it there in front of the Pakistani people ... not easy but we did it."
HSHost says "Can't wait to see it!"
MelvinM asks "I remember Siskel and Ebert saying years ago on their show that Dracula is merely doing what he has to do within his nature to survive. Does that mean that he really isn't evil as such?"
ChristopherLee says "I think that's a very good quote. Siskel and Ebert from Chicago, right? I actually invented a phrase called "the loneliness of evil" and I think it's true. IN this character the curse drives him to do things he may not want to do but can't help it and has to. It's a curse laid upon him cause of something he said or did, like the Flying Dutchman who was cursed on his ship when he was trying to round Cape Horn on his trip .. and he said, "I will if necessary call upon the Devil that I will go around Cape Horn, the southernmost coast of Latin America." And, God heard him and said, "You will be condemned to take this journey and you will never lose the curse that you brought upon yourself until a woman sacrifices herself for the love of you." But, as far as Dracula, it's a curse he can't control."
SRT5 asks "what avise you give to someone who wants to be an actor"
ChristopherLee says "Don't. I know that sounds like a rather flip comment. But, today actors do not necessarily get the work they should get on the basis of their talent and experience. Things have changed, actors are not cast on that basis, some but not enough. Which is why you don't always get the right actor/actress for the right part. It's all a deal now .. who's making the most money so it must go to him/her. The fact that he/she has been paid millions of dollars and made ten flops in a row and I can name them, doesn't matter."
ChristopherLee says "So, when I say don't, you're in a business now .. an industry where the competition is so fierce and the desperation is so high that dedication and devotion to your work and love of it is swamped by all the other elements .. the money, money, money money .. And, so many people who make the final decisions are merely doing a deal, they don't see the final result, llike the stock market. Even in the old days, the golden years, 30's 40's the heads of studios were called movie monsters, they loved films, understood it and made films for everyone."
ChristopherLee says "Nowadays it seems to be specialist audiences only .. mostly the American teenageer. Well, if that goes on and it works and succeeds, people will make those films, but sooner or later it'll change and someone will say how about a real story with some very good actors, and they'll do it. It's bound to happen, has to happen. It's a sad commentary in a way .. that's why I say don't .. Unless you're determined, devoted, ... and you're prepared to put up with all the competition, disappointments, ignorance and fear ... challenge it .. DON'T. Cause nowadays, it seems to me the young performers .. I say SEEMS to me, there are exceptions .. they seem to be standing there with their hand out saying "I wanna be rich and famous tomorrow and hand it over, I'm doing it for the money and I'll phone in my performance.""
ChristopherLee says "but, that doesn't apply to anyone and there are some outstandingly fine actors who are not so young they're in their 40's 50's reason why .. experience .. Lemon, Duval, Pacino, Gibson, Hackman, Harrison Ford ... Eastwood, Pollack, Lumet, Wier .. these are the men, the professionals."
Kittykoot asks "From my 80 year old mom....No question she just wanted to know she has admired you for years and loves all your films she has seen"
ChristopherLee says "That's very kind of her. Please give her my warmest thanks. After all, it's people like her for whom we do what we do. We don't do it to please ourselves you know, some people do. But, we do it to please YOU."
HSHost says "Thank you!"
LadyLilac asks "If you could do a Dracula movie nowaday...who would you choose as your leading lady?"
ChristopherLee says "Well, it wouldn't be one. Because if I was to play the part again, I've always said I would be prepared to but on one condition that it was the book Bram Stoker wrote. Even Coppola's movie wasn't his book, bits yes, but not all. Only if it was the book that Stoker wrote word for word. And, t here are at least two women in that. The two best young actresses that I personally .. well, when I say the two best, there are more than two .. there are some outstanding .. Susan Sarandon ... wonderful actresses like Bancroft, Woodward and Dunaway who are I may be so ungallant as to say they're slightly older."
ChristopherLee says "And, Lee Remick. If I was to choose two young women who'd fit in ideally to that story, I'd choose Michelle Pfeiffer and Jodie Foster, they're superb actresses. Or maybe possibly Nicole Kidman, superb actress." But, there's more than one ,.. I just mentioned a few names, men and women. I apologize if I left them out .. but I can't think of anything off the top of my head. It's my generation you have to understand that. I love to watch young actors to see what they're made of to see if they'll amount to anything, have a shelf life longer than 5 years. I'll tell you something 750f them won't."
ChristopherLee says "There are some very fine actors I haven't mentioned. ... Denzel Washington, Rod Steiger, many many many others. They must forgive me if I can't remember their names offhand. Cruise! IN Rainman was outstanding!"
HSHost says "Dustin ... an amazing team."
guest11609 asks "what's "Creature Features" all about?"
ChristopherLee says "I'm going there tomorrow .. very strange coincidence that I happen to be here this time of year. It's a place in the valley where I"m going for a couple of hours to sign copies of a record I made as a singer, 16 songs in 5 languages ... Westerns to Grand Opera."
HSHost says "Wow! Christopher that's amazing!"
ChristopherLee says "Well, we'll see .. keep surprising people! That's something I've alwasy tried to do as an actor. I'll be there between 12-3pm .. it'll be brief, I'm just signing it saying thank you and handing it over."
Sid asks "Have you any aspiration to Direct?"
ChristopherLee says "No. A lot of actors think they should be directors. Some succeed. But, most of them don't. You can't really, I don't think, wear two hats at the same time. Besides, if you're going to direct a picture of any consequen ce, you're talking about a year, months of production and post production!"
ChristopherLee {action} hears noises on the phone!"
ChristopherLee says "I don't know what those noises are."
HSHost says "Should be okay .. I think someone just picked up the line."
Jinxed asks "Did you see the Movie Blade? If so what did you think of that take off of the vampire stories?"
ChristopherLee says "No. I saw "Slingblade" and "Blade Runner. " I thought Slingblade was extraordinary ... Billy Bob Thornton was outstanding! Quite extraordinary! I've met people like that you know and I thought he gave a superb performance. I haven't seen him in anything else, I think it was the last film the much lamented J.T. Walsh did."
HSHost says "I think it's Wesley Snipes ... it's based on a comic book Peter, the producer, says."
ChristopherLee says "OH, I see. Comic strip."
guest11609 asks "What was John Huston like?"
ChristopherLee says "Oh, terrific! "Moulin Rouge" I did for him in Paris many years ago. And, I still have photos from the set of me with John taken by the late, great photographer Robert Kappa. He's one of the most famous photographers of all time. There's an exhibition of his in Chicago now. Capa, Capa. John put you at so much ease, we were sitting in a cafe in Paris and we were playing a scene with Jose Ferrer and the noise was terrific. I played an artist called Seurat ... and the French were trying to control the traffic and the police were blowing their whistles .. shouting and yelling and I remember John Huston putting his arm around me and saying Just be yourself, kid. In other words, relax. I chose you. I know you can do it. I have confidence in you. When a director like that says that to you, it's a tremendous lift. A lot of directors don't seem to have the ability to do that."
ChristopherLee says "I've worked with many .. sarcastic, vicious, easy, very simple .. and the secret is to know the actor you've given him/her the job, believe in them, have faith in them, help them. Cause they all need help. Don't attack them. There've been many cases of famous directors who's approach to directing was to blast everyone in sight and scare them into giving them a performance. That's happened. Oh yeah. To intimidate them. To me, I don't see that."
HSHost says "Doesn't that hurt morale?"
ChristopherLee says "Yes, it does. Cause that's not the right way to do it. Simple as that."
filippomiller asks "What has been your most demanding role? Why?"
ChristopherLee says "There are many roles that are demanding, but the most are the ones where you have to make the unbelievable believable .. or the physical ones where you're fighting with swords in terrific heat which I did with the Three Musketeers. But, in terms of the interpretation and being faithful to the character and paying tribute and presenting the character as a human being .... was the one I mentioned .. playing the part of the founder of Pakistan .. Jinnah .. so you see, it can still happen after 50 odd years."
HSHost says "Mm hmm."
LadyLilac asks "Was it you input to "seem" sexy as a vampire...or what it the writers idea? Because you are the sexiest vampire ever on screen I would like to hear your input."
ChristopherLee says "I guess it was part of my instinct if you like, having read the book I realized there was a strong romantic/erotic quality in him. He is irresistible to women. That was the way I played it. I didn't set out to be overtly sexy, but certainly to produce this erotic appeal, which as I say, it takes two. ANd, the women showed in their reactions that they couldn't resist me. So, it was between the two of us, really. Not just me."
HSHost says "Mm hmm."
Saint Storyteller asks "What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you on a horror film set?"
ChristopherLee says "Strangest? Oh, goodness me. That's a tough on. One. Something on every one really. When I couldn't see because of contact lenses and physically very tough in "The Mummy." And, I dont' know really. The most physically demanding one I've ever done was Airport '77 where I had to spend 30 days under water, that's not easy without any doubles or anything. And, I did that over here, actually. There are strange things on every film. The funniest thing was on the first Dracula where I had to pick a woman up and throw her in the grave and I lost my footing and fell on top of her! Which she didn't appreciate .. she was a stunt double."
HSHost {action} laughs!"
HSHost says "Oh no!"
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "do you think "Jinnah" will have the same impact on people as "Ghandi" did?"
ChristopherLee says "I don't know is the answer to that. We made the film for about 5 million dollars, it looks great. Jinnah is not as known worldwide as Ghandi was which I think is something we've hopefully rectified. And, the film Ghandi was made for a HUGE budget. Jinnah would be the first person to say I'm not a saint, never was. But, Ghandi had enormous sequences with huge crowds and it had a huge budget and that sort of movie hadn't been seen before. I think if Jinnah gets a decent distribution and the international acclaim it deserves, I think it could in a totally different way .. it's a totally different man in a different country and a totally different religion. It depends on the presentation of the film."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "What was the riskiest stunt you ever did?"
ChristopherLee says "Definitely Airport '77 without a doubt. If you're 30 feet underwater and you practice in a pool that's 10 feet deep and there's no cut and the camera starts on you, your mouth and eyes are open, you're dead and you can't blink .. and I did that for three days. I've done a lot of risky things, been carved up in sword fights, but this was the most dangerous thing I've ever done and people were shouting, "exhale exhale!" as I went to the surface and I didn't realize it then but if you didn't you'd get a blood bubble and it'd go straight to your brain. I got a stunt double's buckle for that."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "Have you played Sherwood Country Club yet?"
ChristopherLee says "Yes, I played it when it was first built before people became member. It was opened by Jack Nicklaus and Greg Normand. I played in 1982 as the third member of the group. I think I shot 76 which wasn't bad .. in those circumstances with poeple lining from tee to green. You don't want to hit somebody. They're used to it, the pros, and I wasn't. But, I played in the amateur championship in Britain. I've played that course, it's a long way out of LA and you have to go to the freeway to get there. And, if you want to be a member, you have to build a million dollar house."
HSHost says "Really?"
ChristopherLee says "yeah, in the Palm Springs area there are over 100 courses and they have residential properties on the course, that's how you become a member, it's obligatory."
HSHost says "Oh, I see."
SRT5 asks "WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT INTERNET AND THESE CHAT ROOMS"
ChristopherLee says "I've never been on it and I don't know how to work a computer. I think it's an excellent idea if I can do it like this, but if I had my own website, I wouldn't have a moment to myself, so I don't. I don't understand computers, I don't have that kind of mind."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "what course would you like to play that you have not played yet?"
ChristopherLee says "Uh ..."
ChristopherLee {action} sighs"
ChristopherLee says "anywhere in the world? In America, I've played most of the great courses. Lucky there Trying to think .. California, also east, Florida, Congressional, um .... The country club in Texas .. I think it's Houston. Oh goodness, tough question. In the rest of the world, Royal Melbourne in Australia. But, I've played everywhere in the world and have been fortunate. I'm a member of the oldest golf club in the world founded in 1774, called the Honorable Company of Edinborough Golfers and the course is called Norfield where they play the open championship in Scotland. That's my home course."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "What is the most exotic course you have Played? Have you played Steve Wynn's private course Shadow Creek?"
ChristopherLee says "No. Exotic? Difficult question. There are so many ways of defining that .. beautiful flowers, I suppose Augusta National which I have played. I played it off the members tees, not the pro tees. I play quite well, but Pine Valley is the most difficult course I've played in the U.S. the most difficult and way beyond .. Seminole in Florida, Pebble Beach in Calfiornia .. and the club I played yesterday, The Bel Air club and Los Angeles country club .. wonderful courses. And, I've played many of them."
HSHost says "wow... that's great."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "is it true that golf originated with victors using the heads of the vanquished?"
ChristopherLee says "I don't know. But, the origin of the game that most people seem to accept is that it was played in Holland like a kind of hockey. And, people had sticks that were curved at the end on the ice and they hit a ball into a hole. And, the game was called Kolven. Now, those Dutchman were fisherman, herring fisherman and they crossed the north sea to fish off the eastern coast of Scotland and went ashore. So, that's where it originated more or less in St. Andrews. They got into the habit of knocking things around with these clubs into a hole."
ChristopherLee says "That's what I"ve been told. Also the Roman Legions in those days knocked things around with some sort of instrument .. but Kolven is very close to golf."
HSHost says "Like curling in the Olympics?"
ChristopherLee says "No, that you do with your hand mostly. You hit a ball into a hole, not a net."
HSHost says "Oh, okay."
pasha asks "I grew up watching all your horror movies. What do you think is the most wrong with horror movies today?"
ChristopherLee says "Too much on the screen. Nothing left to the imagination. I said this already. It's what you don't see which is much more effective than what you do. Now everything's there in graphic and I think nauseating detail ... and they do it I suppose because the audience likes it and wants it. But, personally I don't. I'm a different generation."
LadyLilac asks "do you consider yourself as macabre?"
ChristopherLee says "No, not at all. Not in the least. I'm like anybody else, a reasonably normal human being. I have an interest in it which has happened to translate itslef into some of the work I've done. I'm interested, it's part myth and part history, but I'm certainly not morbid."
LadyLilac asks "What would be the ultimate role that you would be over joyed playing?"
ChristopherLee says "There are basically two ... they've both been done, but I'm now the right age to play Don Chixote .. and even the Spaniards would accept me in that. The other, I'm a bit old for it now, but I'd love to play Ivan the Terrible who was more than a frightening, sadistic, terrifying and ruthless ruler. But, that was done as a Russian film and the actor who played him, I can't imagine anyone doing it better than him. So, it'd be rather presumptuous of me to play him, but I'd like to."
Sid asks "Have you written any books?"
ChristopherLee says "Oh, yes! Indeed, I have. I've written ... anthologies .. chosen stories by famous writers, many of whom I knew. And, I introduce them with a comment before each story in the book, "The Great Villains" is one of them .. these are English titles. And, I've written an autobiography which is out in England .. coming here next here, it's got a title I didn't choose, "Tall, Dark, and Gruesome." Midnight Marquis Press, coming out in August next year."
Sid asks "Are you involved with any charities?"
ChristopherLee says "Mm hmm .. many. But, I don't make an issue out of it. The charity with which I'm most associated is the oldest order in the world, the Order of St. John of Jerusalem which was formed in the 12th century and I'm a founder of that order. And, others .. when you give to charity .. you shouldn't make it a public ... issue. It's best done privately and quietly. Otherwise it looks like you're trying to make out what a great person you are for giving away millions. Which is all company money anyway. In my country this is the way you get a Knighthood which Her Majesty puts upon you twice a year."
Sid asks "What are you doing on Halloween?"
ChristopherLee says "I'm doing this thing at the Creature Feature tomorrow, signing this record and getting together with friends, that's all. It's not such a big thing .... as in this country. All Hallow's Eve in Europe when the Devil is abroad ... to this day, there are people who stay in. EEN is the old English word for Evening .. means literally the evening of all Hallows."
HSHost says "Oh great info tonight!"
ChristopherLee says "Well, those are two things you've heard."
Sid asks "What is your favorite movie?"
ChristopherLee says "Night of the Hunter. Greatest film I've ever seen I think. Then I'd have to start thinking of others, Paths of Glory, High Noon, and you say My God, look what I left out! But, I think the greatest picture I've seen is Night of the Huter. Hunter. And, the original b&w version of "To Be or Not to Be" with Jack Benny and my good friend Bob Stack. And, "The Producer," Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder, along the same lines but much later of course."
guest11633 asks "what would you like to do that you have not done yet?"
ChristopherLee says "Simple answer to that. Exactly what he said. Anything I haven't done yet that's worth doing. I judge things very simply. first it's the story, then it's the script, then the director, then the cast, then the part .. what can I do with it, what contribution can I make which will be important to the film. That's the basis on which I accept whatever I do. So ... You ask me a question and the answer is almost the same as the question."
ChristopherLee says "Difficult to find something I haven't done before now but they keep coming. And the strange thing is at my age I'm being offered more work than I have in my life. And the sad thing is I'm turning everything down cause I"m looking for something I haven't done before."
TheUnwrappedMummy asks "Did you see the original version of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels with Marlon Brando and david Niven and do you remember what it was called?"
ChristopherLee says "No. They were pretending to be in wheelchairs?"
HSHost says "Yes."
ChristopherLee says "No never saw it. I can't answer that question. I'm not a great cinemagoer. I have to be brutal, but there aren't many films I want to see. The last outstanding film I saw in the theatre in London was "L.A. Confidential," which I thought was terrific. Really liked it."
SRT5 asks "WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT IN YOUR CAREER"
ChristopherLee says "Um, that's difficult to answer, too. I suppose in a strange way 3 or 4 years ago when the London Critics gave me their award for Lifetime Achievement. It's their equivalent of an Oscar from the most critical people of them all!"
HSHost says "Congratulations! Yes!"
ChristopherLee says "And, they gave me that!"
HSHost says "Oh nice. Christopher, thank you so much for joining us tonight. It was a pleasure to have you on the show!"
ChristopherLee says "Not at all, thank you. Pleasure."
HSHost says "And, thanks to all you viewers out there for chatting with us at REAL HOLLYWOOD.COM.
