Comments: This is undoubtedly the film most likely to make you jump!The reason for this is it was designed that way. John Carpenter set out to make the world's scariest horror movie for teenagers and, indeed, succeeded. Too many sequels, including one that had nothing to do with Michael Myers at all, have placed this in the "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare on Elm Street" slasher genre. It is, however, far superior.
